Why Apply to the American Naturopathic Certification Board for National Certification?

One of the primary means to demonstrate expertise, enhance visibility, and foster credibility in the eyes of the public is through professional certification. The American Naturopathic Certification Board (ANCB) supports the standards, scope of practice and code of ethics necessary to describe nutritional wellness and traditional naturopathy as distinct approaches to health and wellness. Obtaining certification demonstrates your knowledge and experience to employers, clients, and peers. It also signifies your commitment to continued excellence in the practice of traditional naturopathy. Renewal of board certification is required every two years.

The ANCB (American Naturopathic Certification Board), formerly the American Naturopathic Medical Certification and Accreditation Board (ANMCAB), is the only national certification board for traditional naturopathy in the United States. The ANMCAB certified naturopaths from 1978 through 2003. Now the ANCB continues this mission through a comprehensive certification process.
